Privacy notice
Last updated 2 October 2026.
Who we are
The controller of your personal data is AurVald OÜ (registry code 17595523), a private limited company registered in Estonia, Ahtri tn 12, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia. Contact us about privacy at info@aurvald.ee.
What we collect and why
- Enquiries. When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, company (if given) and your message. We use them to reply and to discuss a possible engagement. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).
- Clients and prospective clients. Business contact details and correspondence needed to propose, deliver and invoice our services. Legal basis: contract and legal obligations such as accounting rules (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c)).
- Business development. We may contact people in a professional capacity about services relevant to their role, using business contact details. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time and we will stop.
- Website. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we share it with
We use service providers that process data on our behalf — our website host and our email provider — under data processing terms. Where an engagement involves our implementation partner, we share only the business contact details needed for delivery. We do not sell personal data.
If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to an engagement are kept for 24 months after our last contact, then deleted. Client records are kept for as long as the engagement lasts and afterwards for as long as accounting and legal obligations require.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Email info@aurvald.ee and we will respond within one month.
You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee) or to the data protection authority where you live or work.
Changes
We will update this notice if our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
